A Stunner in England

Unfortunately for Terrence Trammell, he caught the United Kingdom's Andy Turner on arguably the best day of his career.

T2 entered the Powerade Great City Games as a pre-race favorite, but as luck would have it, Turner turned in one of his top runs ever. Athletics Weekly chronicled Sunday's event.

Based on credentials, former two-time Olympic silver medallist Terrence Trammell started as the pre-race favourite in the 110m hurdles but the UK champion had the edge on Trammell out of the blocks and the Commonwealth and European bronze medallist managed to maintain his advantage.

Even though Trammell closed the gap coming off the final hurdle, Turner held on for a noteworthy victory in a season’s best of 13.37, to defeat the American No.1 by two-hundredths.
