In a season short of highs for No. 7 and the Sacramento Kings, Sunday night was an exception.

Rashad canned a three pointer sealed the Kings’ 126-118 victory over the Phoenix Suns Sunday night. He put up 12 points in the win, snapping a four-game losing streak.
What's more: No .7 racked up an impressive season-high five assists and two rebounds and shot 50 percent from the field in over 23 minutes on the court.
As Sports Network detailed:
An O'Neal free throw made it a five-point game with just over two minutes left, but Rashad McCants rose over Grant Hill and hit a huge jumper from the elbow as the shot clock was winding down on the next possession.
Nash kept the Suns in it with a three to get within 123-118 with 1:23 to go, but it proved to be their last field goal, putting the club's playoff hopes on life support.
"It was a very good win," Kings interim head coach Kenny Natt said. "We came out and we were in the game from the start tonight. I just keep saying over and over again how important it is for us to get off to a good start on both ends of the floor. When that happens, it gives us a fair chance of being in the ballgame."
LOSS TO GRIZZLIES
No. 7 scored eight points in a 113-95 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies Friday night. He went 1-4 from the field in over eight minutes of court time.
Rashad’s alma mater, North Carolina, advanced to the Final Four for the second straight year.
The Kings face the New Orleans Hornets on March 31 at 7 p.m. on CSNCA.
