Nearly Perfect

Tuesday night saw Rashad turn in his most spectacular shooting display of the season, but it wasn't enough to get the Sacramento Kings a win.

Despite shooting 100% from the field, No. 7 (6-of-6, 3-of-3 3PT 20 points, four rebounds), Rashad and his new team fell to the visiting Indiana Pacers, 117-109.

Nonetheless, people were quick to praise Rashad -- and not just for his sharpshooting.

As noted by the Sacramento Bee's Sam Amick:

Guard Rashad McCants...has surprised with his ability and willingness to contest any and all comers.

McCants, who was 6 of 6 from the field with 20 points in 30 minutes, spent part of his outing Tuesday asking teammates to let him guard the bigger, better players. He talked his way into Troy Murphy duty late in the second quarter, nevermind the difference of seven inches in height (Murphy's 6-foot-11 to McCants' 6-4) and 30 pounds (245 to 215).
