Giving Back

While Josh is healing up, we thought we'd share some photos and praise he received earlier in the year for work in the Dallas community.

On December 5, 2008, Josh paid a visit to the Oak Cliff Boys and Girls Club, spending the afternoon eating pizza, shooting hoops, and signing autographs with a mix of great kids.

Afterward, Danita Harris of Oak Cliff shared her heartfelt thanks:

Josh Howard visited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas Oak Cliff club site last Friday… and the kids LOVED it! Josh was so engaging and friendly; the kids were able to take picture after picture without him tiring! It was truly awesome the experience that these kids were able to enjoy which was more than likely a once in a lifetime experience for most of them! We truly appreciate him taking the time, because after all, they didn’t have to have the pizza or the autographs, those were bonuses, it was the fact that he took time out of his schedule to talk, play and laugh with the kids that made all the difference! We thank him for doing this. The kids will never forget it!
