AT Gives $10,000 to Morris Brown

Angelo, a graduate of Atlanta's Morris Brown College, is joining the fight to save his alma mater. As reported by WBSTV on Friday:

Taylor donated $10,000 to the historically black college founded by former slaves. The school has struggled to stay afloat in recent years.

Water service at the school was restored Friday, after it failed to keep a payment agreement with Atlanta's water department. Lawyers for Morris Brown successfully petitioned a superior court judge to intervene in the matter, and the city agreed to turn the water back on before classes are scheduled to resume on Jan. 9.

Angelo told the Atlanta Fox affiliate that he hoped his help with motivate others to do the same.

"We've been going through crises for some time now. Hopefully by getting involved, other alumni will come forward and get involved," Taylor said.
