Terrence put in a tremendous effort at the Visa Championship, and easily distanced himself from the competition in the 60m hurdles.
He finished in 7.37 seconds, breaking Reggie Torian's 10 year old record of 7.38 seconds. His time also put him just .01 of a second off of the American national 60m hurdle record.

As he told the Associated Press:
"I'm grateful to be able to run the way I've run this winter," said Trammell, who was injured just before the first heat of the Olympic 110 hurdles in Beijing. "I think this is just the tip of the iceberg. I always thought I could run under 7:40."

Trammell, who won silver medals at the 2000 and 2004 Olympics, also hopes to have another chance at the Games. A hamstring strain knocked him out in the first round at Beijing.
