Is the Truth the best offensive player to ever don Celtics green?
That was the question posed by Boston Globe reporters Bob Ryan and Tony Massarotti on Wednesday:
BACK IN THE W COLUMN
Coming off a tough loss to the Orlando Magic this past weekend, Paul and Co. face a tough challenge Wednesday night against the red-hot Miami Heat, and superstar Dwayne Wade
Paul acknowleged how well Wade has been playing as of late in an interview with NECN.com:
"He's been one of the best all year long," said Paul Pierce of the Celtics. "He's talented, numbers don't lie."
DEALING WITH INJURIES
The Truth also spoke recently about the injury bug that has struck Boston, and persisting in the face of it. Kevin Garnett continues to remain sidelined, while Rajon Rando and Glen Davis recently joined the ranks of the hobbled.
Paul spoke about KG and Rondo with Boston.com:
"You can't replace either one of them," Pierce said. "We have to make it up by guys stepping up. We have to make it up with a number of guys, not just one or two guys.
"I always said, even before the season started, whatever team is the healthiest, especially down the stretch, is probably going to win home court in the playoffs. So, hopefully, we'll get healthy and make our run."
NEXT UP
Boston takes on the Miami Heat tonight on the road. Game time is 7:30 EST.
